HC Deb 06 August 1940 vol 363 c57W
Sir T. Moore

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any protest has been made at the action of Sweden in allowing Nazis and war goods to go through their country?

Mr. Butler

His Majesty's Government have informed the Swedish Government that they take a grave view of the decision to allow German troops to cross Swedish territory and cannot but regard the Swedish Government's action as a serious breach of neutrality.
