Baillieasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he can give any information as to the success of the campaign to persuade farmers to lay in the largest possible stocks of fertilisers and feeding-stuffs at the present time while transport facilities are freely available; and to what extent special financial facilities can be made available to farmers to assist them in this respect?
Mr. HudsonStorage on farms is proceeding satisfactorily but no figures are available. As regards special financial facilities I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Howdenshire (Colonel Carver) on 9th July last.
