THE EARL OF BREADALBANE AND HOLLAND

asked His Majesty's Government whether they are prepared to give an assurance that, in deciding on the control price at which the 1940 wool clip is to be acquired, they will take into consideration the costs reasonably incurred by farmers in producing it.

THE MINISTER OF FOOD (LORD WOOLTON)

The answer is in the affirmative. Due regard will be had to this as well as to other relevant factors.

House adjourned at six minutes past six o'clock.
