SimonIn the annual reports of the Commissioners of Inland Revenue, figures are given showing the total amount of income exempted as owned by charities, colleges, hospitals, friendly societies, etc., but these figures relate only to income which has been brought into the gross assessment and are therefore not comprehensive of all incomes of charities. They cannot be subdivided so as to show separately the figures relating to charitable institutions only.
