§ Colonel Wedgwoodasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the announcement by the new French Minister of Health, M. Heraud, that all the Ministry's Departments which had been evacuated are to return to Paris, he will inquire whether this announcement covers the evacuated Departments of all French Ministries, with a view to arranging in this country for a similar return of Government Departments to London?
§ Captain CrookshankI understand that Monsieur Heraud's announcement referred only to his own Department, the Ministry of Health. The position of Government Departments in regard to evacuation is kept under constant review by His Majesty's Government, which is satisfied that the existing policy is still necessary in the public interest.
