Industrial employés are insured for health and unemployment in accordance with statutory requirements. There is no superannuation scheme for these employés apart from the National Contributory Pensions Scheme, but all those who have completed 15 years satisfactory service are entitled to a retiring gratuity-equivalent to one week's pay for each completed year of service.
In accordance with normal practice these employés are engaged on a weekly basis: the question of their continued employment after the conclusion of hostilities can only be considered then in the light of circumstances obtaining.
