Mr. Davidsonasked the Secretary of State for Air whether he has considered the communication sent to him by the hon. Member for Maryhill regarding the flight of enemy aircraft over Glasgow; and whether he can make a statement to the House about it?
§ Sir K. WoodYes, Sir. The statement referred to is a Press cutting reporting the Lord Provost of Glasgow as having stated that enemy aircraft had been seen over Glasgow. I have since received a telegram from the Lord Provost denying that he ever made such a statement.
