HC Deb 21 November 1939 vol 353 cc1048-9W
Miss Ward

asked the Minister of Health how many hospital supply depots have been created since the beginning of the war; and how many have received supplies of material from the central supply depot; and, in particular, in the counties of Northumberland and Durham?

Mr. Elliot

I regret there are no statistics available in regard to the first and second parts of the question. As regards the third part, I understand from the Central Hospital Supply Service that the counties of Northumberland and Durham have togetheir received 37,550 yards of material of various kinds and 2,000 lbs. of knitting wool.
