asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that numerous British-born wives of Germans do not know, and are not being informed by registration officers, that they have the right to claim for resumption of British nationality under Clause 10 (6) of the British Nationality and Status of Aliens Act; and whether he will therefore issue instructions to the registration officers and to tribunals for enemy aliens, that they should inform every applicant in this position, of her legal rights in the matter?
§ Sir J. Anderson
I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply which I gave to a question by the hon. Member for Frome (Mrs. Tate) on 5th October.
