§ Mr. Thorneasked the Home Secretary whether the General Council of the Trades Union Congress have yet submitted their evidence to the Royal Commission on Workmen's Compensation?
§ Mr. PeakeMy right hon. Friend understands that the council have submitted to the Commission a written Memorandum of Evidence and that their representatives were to have given oral evidence in support of the memorandum this week, but that owing to a special conference 1009W which the council has thought it necessary to call in connection with Defence questions the date has unfortunately had to be postponed.
