§ Mr. E. Brownpursuant to his reply (OFFICIAL REPORT, 2nd March, 1939; cols. 1459–60, Vol. 344), supplied the following statement:
At 13th February, 1939, 607 insured men and boys, aged 14–64, in the coal mining industry classification, were recorded as unemployed at Employment 2230W Exchanges serving the Cannock Chase coalfield.
