§ Mr. ElliotOn the 1st January, 1939, there were 3,293 old age pensioners in the administrative county of Derby in receipt of poor relief. The information desired in the second part of the question is not available as the returns made to my Department by public assistance authorities do not contain separate figures for parts of an administrative county.
