§ Mr. R. S. HudsonMy hon. and gallant Friend no doubt refers to a figure given in the "Board of Trade Journal" of 16th February last. It is pointed out in the same article that the large population in India and Burma reduces the export figure per head to a low level. The relevant trade statistics have been kept in mind in the negotiations for a Trade Agreement with India which are now in progress.
