§ Mr. ElliotI am informed that up to the end of 1937 there were 149 cases of diphtheria in Manchester among persons who had received a full course of inoculation. Of these, 18 were under five years of age, 129 between five and 15 years and two over 15 years. There were three deaths As Schick testing is not carried out as a routine it is not possible to give the figures for Schick-negative persons.
