asked whether His Majesty's Government will circulate or lay on the Table a report of the speech made by the Foreign Secretary at Geneva especially with regard to the negotiations for a peace front and with regard to the Sino-Japanese position.

I am laying on the Table copies of the Minutes of the meetings of the Council of the League of Nations held on the 22nd and 23rd May, which contain the text of the two statements which I made on the subjects to which the noble Viscount's Question refers.
