§ Mr. Garro Jonesasked the Minister of Health whether, in his present consideration of whether further control should be imposed on the sale of proprietary medicines, he will extend his examination to the control of drug sales in general and pay due regard to the desirability, in the interests of public health, of regulating the growing volume of sales of numerous kinds of drugs and packed medicines by persons of no training or qualification to the increasing commercial detriment of qualified pharmacists who have an essential place in our public health system?
§ Mr. ElliotI will consider the question whether in the interests of public health any further special control is necessary in regard to the sale of drugs by persons other than qualified pharmacists.
