§ Sir W. WomersleyIn the event of war, it is proposed that the Women's Land Army Committees should be responsible for the local arrangements for the accommodation of members of the Women's Land Army. My right hon. Friend the Minister of Health, has suggested to local authorities that they should bear this question in mind in preparing plans for reception under the evacuation schemes, and my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries is considering with him the question whether any further steps are necessary or desirable.
