HC Deb 21 February 1939 vol 344 cc216-7W
Mr. R. Gibson

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will state the names of the large cargo vessels and tankers built and launched on the Continent to British orders during 1938; the tonnage, carrying capacity, name of owner, and port of registry of each vessel; and whether the vessel, in each case, was engined by Continental or British-made engines?

Mr. Stanley
