§ Mr. Liddallasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that private cars taxed under horse-power are entitled by law to draw trailers, from which goods are sold, without paying additional tax, whereas goods vehicles are not; and will he, in fairness to all traders, consider proposing an amendment of the present law so as to make trailers, used for trading purposes and drawn by private motor cars, liable to taxation?
