§ Captain CrookshankYes, Sir, except that the regulation referred to makes provision for transactions, which do not fall within the Exemptions Order, to be allowed if they receive Treasury consent. Applications for such consent should be addressed to the Capital Issues Committee, 76, King William Street, E.C.4.
I should add, however, that as the right hon. and gallant Gentleman is aware, one of the provisions in the Exemptions Order exempts, subject to certain conditions, transactions amounting to 486W £10,000 and less over a given period. For the exact operation of this exemption reference should be made to the actual terms of the Order.
