§ Miss HorsbrughThe matter is now under negotiation but the Government have accepted full responsibility for the cost of treatment of war casualties in voluntary hospitals. The Government propose to make payments on account, subject to adjustment at a later date. The precise basis of the payments and points arising out of the proposals are under discussion with the British Hospitals Association.
