asked the Minister of Transport whether he will state the number of fatal and other accidents involving motor cars, etc., in Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire, respectively, in the years 1935, 1936, 1937 and 1938, and the number of these accidents in which drink was a contributing cause?

The number of accidents involving personal injury on the roads in Stirlingshire (including the Burgh of Stirling) and Clackmannanshire during the last four years were as follow:

am not in a position to say what steps are being taken by the respective parties. If the hon. Member will let me know of any specific cases that he has in mind I shall endeavour to obtain the information he desires.
