§ Mr. Windsorasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that during the recent municipal election in Hull a candidate offered employment to an unemployed man of the name of Ramsay on condition that he left the Labour party; that, upon the man's refusal to accept this condition, he was reported to the Exchange for having refused an offer of employment, whereupon his unemployment benefit was stopped pending consideration by a court of referees; that later the man was informed that the complaint had been withdrawn; and whether he will have prompt inquiry made into this case?
