§ Lieut.-Colonel Heneageasked the Minister of Transport how many parishes in the Grimsby, Caistor, and Louth Rural District Council areas are still to be supplied with electric plant; how many have been supplied; and what steps he is taking to hasten the supply of electrical power to these agricultural areas?
§ Mr. BurginI am informed that a supply of electricity is now available in 13 out of 21 parishes in the rural district of Grimsby, in 12 out of 39 parishes in the rural district of Caistor and in 27 out of 79 parishes in the rural district of Louth, and will be available shortly in one further parish in the rural district of Caistor and two further parishes in the rural district of Louth. If my hon. and gallant Friend can furnish me with evidence of a prospective demand in any particular area, I will gladly have inquiries made as to the possibility of meeting it.
