HC Deb 21 November 1938 vol 341 c1367W
Mr. Trevor Cox

asked the Postmaster-General whether he will cause an inquiry to be held in regard to the complaints made to the Dukinfield Municipal Council concerning the postal services, so that better facilities may be given to the town in regard to these services?

Major Tryon

I understand that the complaints relate to delays in the post and the latest time of acceptance of parcels at the Dukinfield Post Office. Parcels are now accepted at the Dukinfield Post Office up to 7.30 p.m. instead of 7.0 p.m. as formerly. I am making further inquiry regarding delays in the post and will write to my hon. Friend.
