§ Sir V. WarrenderThe number of women who have so far been finally selected for appointment as officers in the Auxiliary Territorial Service is 296, of whom 26 are titled. It is not possible, from the records of my Department, to indicate what proportion of the former figure are wage-earning women or officials of their organisations.
