§ Lieut.-Colonel MuirheadThe appointment of the Chairman of the Society of British Aircraft Constructors is not an official appointment made by the Air Ministry or any other Government Department. I understand that the salary of the Chairman of the Society of British Aircraft Constructors is paid out of the2018W funds of the Society and that these funds are provided by contributions from the members. The Society of British Aircraft Constructors is a trade association and the Government does not contribute to its funds.
