§ Mr. ColvilleI would refer to the reply given to the hon. Member on 8th March last. Since then the county council have completed their investigations into the question of an adequate local contribution towards the cost of the proposed pier at Portnaguran. The possibility of a Government grant is under consideration but1738W the project is a costly one and I am unable in the meantime to announce any decision.
