§ Mr. ButlerIn conformity with the League resolutions His Majesty's Government, within the limits imposed upon them by existing circumstances, are giving and will continue to give serious and sympathetic consideration to any requests they may receive from the Chinese Government. I cannot attempt to give any detailed definition of what is being done or what may be in contemplation.
