Mr. W. Joseph Stewartasked the Minister of Health whether the Wetherby Parish Council has been successful, and at what price, in acquiring for burial ground an area of 1¾ acres at Hallfield from the Gunther trustees; whether he is aware that the owners had been asking £600 for this land, besides which the council would have had to build a 10-feet wall and would have been involved in drainage costs of about £400; and if he can say what was the rateable value of this land when last occupied?
§ Mr. ElliotI understand that no decision has been reached by the local authority regarding the acquisition of this land. I have no information as to its rateable value when last occupied.
