§ Sir K. WoodAll the local supervising authorities in the county of Devon have prepared proposals under the Midwives Act, 1936. These are the Devon County Council and the Councils of the County Boroughs of Exeter and Plymouth, and of the Borough of Torquay. I have no information that there is a shortage of certified midwives in the county.
