Mr. David Adamsasked the Minister of Transport whether he will revert to the practice of isuing the figures of road accidents weekly instead of monthly, as experience has shown that by the issue of weekly figures the question of road safety was more succesfully brought to the notice of the public?
§ Mr. BurginNo, Sir. I take the view that the fuller information which it is possible to publish at monthly intervals is more useful, and more effective for the purpose of informing the public, than the previous weekly statement, which was of necessity much less detailed.
