§ Mr. RamsbothamDuring the 12 months ended 30th September, 1938, 48 pensions were withdrawn, about 140 were reduced on review, whilst about 1,500 pensions were increased. The net result of the changes made on re-assessment during the year was an average increase of 22.6 per cent., or about 10s. a week per pensioner.
