§ Lieut.-Colonel MuirheadThe establishment of a central airport for London is not at present in contemplation. With regard to the site at Fairlop, to which my hon. and learned Friend has previously alluded in this connection, but which cannot be considered as a central airport, I am informed that negotiations between the City of London authorities and other parties for the purchase of the land are proceeding satisfactorily, and are understood to be approaching completion.
