HC Deb 23 November 1937 vol 329 cc1063-4W
Mr. De la Bère

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the Government would consider taking steps to permit an increased acreage of potatoes for the purpose of producing feeding-stuffs for pigs without the payment of the 5 an acre excess acreage levy of the Potato Marketing Board, as an acreage under any variety of potatoes improves the weeding of the fields of this country and would also decrease the amount of imported feeding-stuffs required by this country?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave to him on 18th November last.
