§ Sir W. Jenkinssked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education what percentage of children remain in elementary or senior schools up to the age of 15 years in England and what number in Wales; and will he give the numbers for the Special Areas separately?
Mr. LindsayThe Board have not tabulated figures for areas other than local education authority areas; consequently it is not possible to give separate figures for urban districts and rural districts which are not local education authorities. Figures are accordingly given for the administrative counties as a whole of Durham, Glamorgan and Monmouthshire respectively.
