§ Mr. BurginThe Highway Code advises pedestrians at controlled crossings to cross only when the appropriate line of traffic is held up. Section 45 (4) of 1781W the Road Traffic Act, 1930, provides that failure to observe the Highway Code may be relied upon in Court proceedings as tending to establish or negative liability.
