§ Sir K. WoodI have no direct evidence of damage caused by the wearing of the spectacles referred to and I have no power to prohibit their sale. So far, however, as insured persons are concerned, it is proposed to make regulations to the effect that spectacles provided by way of additional benefit can be obtained only from opticians recognised by a committee to be set up under the regulations.
