§ Mr. Jaggerasked the Attorney General, whether, in view of Section 120 of the Land Registration Act, 1925, the extension of the system of registration of land to the County of Middlesex in January last may be regarded as an indication that the authorities were satisfied, after the expiration of the 10 years mentioned in the Section, as to the desirability of extending the system; and whether steps are being taken to ensure further extensions?
§ The Attorney-GeneralMy Noble Friend, the Lord Chancellor, took such steps as are directed by the Statute to extend the system of compulsory registration of land in the County of Middlesex because he was satisfied that it was desirable to extend that system to that county at that time, and that the necessary machinery was available for the purpose. The question of any further extension is under close examination by my Noble Friend.
