§ Captain CrookshankIt is estimated that the total production of saleable coal in Great Britain in 1936 was 228,524,000 tons and that the average proceeds per ton of coal disposable commercially was 14s. 8d. The quantity of coal exported as cargo during the year was 34,532,777 tons and foreign bunker shipments amounted to 11,947,525 tons.
