§ Mr. E. BrownThe latest date for which an age-analysis of unemployed persons on the registers of Employment Exchanges is available is 2nd November, 1936. On that date out of a total of 1,263,937 men and 247,404 women aged 18 and over on the register, 119,581 men and 8,769 women were aged 60 or over.
