§ Sir A. Wilsonasked the Minister of Labour whether he will cause inquiry to be made into the number of war pensioners who are in receipt of relief through public assistance committees, and the proportion that they bear to the total number of persons in receipt of war pensions?
§ Sir K. WoodI have been asked to reply. I regret that the statistical returns in my possession do not distinguish holders of disability pensions from other recipients of poor relief, and I do not think that I should be justified in putting local authorities to the trouble and expense which the extraction of this information would involve.
