asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will take into consideration at an early date the need for consolidating the Allotment Acts, in view of their complexity and the importance of facilitating action thereunder by parish meetings or other councils under Section 22 (1) of the Allotments Act, 1922?

I have taken note of the suggestion of my hon. and gallant Friend, but I cannot hold out any hope of early legislation for the consolidation of the Allotments Acts.
