asked the Minister of Agriculture how frequently 25-inch ordnance maps are revised?

I have been asked to reply. 25-inch Ordnance Survey maps are not revised at specific intervals.

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will make any grants to county councils to meet the cost of bringing ordnance maps up to date for the purpose of carrying out the Town and Country Planning Act?

Effect has already been given to the recommendations made by the Departmental Committee on the Ordnance Survey in its Interim Report published in 1936 for the acceleration of the supply of up-to-date Ordnance Survey maps required for the purposes of the Town and Country Planning Act. It is not proposed to make grants to county councils for this purpose.
