§ Major Raynerasked the President of the Board of Trade in what respects the trade agreements with Denmark and the Argentine, respectively, prevent further protection being given to British agricultural products?
§ Mr. R. S. HudsonThese agreements contain provisions consolidating the duties on certain agricultural products and other provisions defining the cases in which imports may be regulated and guaranteeing minimum quantities or percentages. These provisions cannot be conveniently enumerated in answer to a question, and I must refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the text of the agreements themselves (Cmd. 4424 and 5324).
