asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air the total number of miles flown by Air France, Luft Hansa, Imperial Airways, Limited, and the Dutch K.L.M. line during each year since 1930, and the total number of passengers carried by each air line during each of these years?

The figures for 1933 comprise (a) the total operations of the five separate companies from 1st January to 31st May, 1933, and (b) the operation of "Air France" from 1st June to 31st December, 1933. The figures in respect of "Air France" from 1st June to 31st December, 1933 (i.e., first seven months of operations) were 3,739,508 miles flown and 36,699 passengers carried.
