a date in March of each year since 1924, the earliest year for which comparable figures are available:—

labourers engaged on work on the site of the aerodrome at Minchinhampton, which is within the rural district of Stroud, is 1s. 1¼d. per hour for a period of six months from 17th March, 1937.
