HC Deb 15 April 1937 vol 322 c1193W
Mr. C. Wilson

asked the Minister of Labour what occupations account for the increase of 1,182 in the number of unemployed in Sheffield as between 22nd February and 15th March; and whether he can give the numbers in the occupations most largely affected?

Mr. E. Brown

The increase is almost entirely accounted for by the building and public works contracting industries.
