§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAA traffic census was taken during the week ended 18th August, 1935, at the Anglesey approach to the Menai suspension bridge, at five points on the Caernarvonshire section of the London-Holyhead road (A.5), and at a point at Llandudno Junction on the Colwyn Bay-Bangor coast road (A.55). The daily average and the peak density of traffic recorded at the census points between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. are shown in the appended table. The daily average figures shown for road A.5 include the results recorded at all five census points. No census was taken of traffic passing over Conway suspension bridge.
