asked His Majesty's Government whether they can give any indication as to when they hope to be able to announce their decision on the question raised by the Report of the Royal Commission presided over by Sir John Eldon Bankes.

VISCOUNT SWINTON

The proposals contained in the Report of the Royal Commission are at present under examination. Until His Majesty's Government have had an opportunity of considering the results of this examination, they are not in a position to indicate when any final decision will be reached.
